Hi friends,
Happy Valentine’s Day! I had an essay scheduled for today but decided to push it to next week to share more appropriate themed essays I have written in the past three years.
If you are new here, welcome. I have curated my favorite essays for Valentine’s Day - they are among my favorites, consider this a Life with MD sampler plate. If you are a long-time reader, I’d appreciate it if you revisit my older essays and give them some TLC. I am drawn to writing about LOVE. Truth be told, every essay I shared has love interweaved in it: self-love, friendship, family, romantic love… Read anything that speaks to you and leave me some feedback.
Thank you for being here. I hope you will have a peaceful and tender Valentine’s Day, whether it is “romantic” or not.
The love you deserve, warm, fuzzy feelings of the alluring, capital L.
Where you live can change who you are - my love letter to the city I have grown to call home.
Selfish love - seeing yourself in your crushes.
Loving yourself through protecting your peace
All my love,
Minh

I just loved reading every single one of your essays — I basically felt deeply connected with all of them and could relate a lot with most of the situations. Thanks for sharing and being inspiring 🤍
Minh. I LOVE reading your essays. I can relate especially the one regarding friendships. I am no longer willing to chase people. Like you I used to put forth all the efforts but very often it wasn't reciprocated. I no longer wish to waste my time, breath and energy with people who are not worthy of my love. Also, the essay about being or doing things that didn't reflect who I was. I always swam against the currant, in that sense. You remind me of who I was and who I am now. Thank you for sharing!
